22/7/2007 - The Simpsons Movie launching next week across the world!

Next week is the big week where the Simpsons Movie launches across the world. We'll be putting up a full review plus we'll be following the success of the film and providing coverage of where this leaves the Simpsons from here and if there will be any plans for future Simpsons movies. Stay tuned!

11/7/2007 - Springfield in New Zealand Celebrates Simpsons Movie

Over in Springfield New Zealand have erected a giant pink donut and duff beer is half price at the local tavern to celebrate the coming release of the Simpsons Movie across the world. We are also pleased to announce that after the Simpsons Movie has been releasd, we will be becoming a fan community dedicated to the Simpsons series and any further movies.

24/5/2007 - Simpsons Movie Xbox 360 and Minnie Driver

Over in the forums we learn that Minnie Driver has been cut from the film, with a possile window for her replacement. Green Day are now offcially confirmed. Albert Brooks will play the villain, and the President will be Arnie! Microsoft has announced a limited-edition yellow Xbox 360 console.

29/4/2007 - Latest Simpsons Movie Update

Looks like some of the rumors over in our Simpsons Movie forums were correct!
The Simpsons Movie Producer James L Brooks claims that 70% of the theatrical trailer is not even in the
finished film: “It started out as people wanting to know what it was about, and then we were having
fun with it, putting out false story lines. We’ve revealed more with each successive trailer.
We’ll continue to do that,” Brooks told EW. “We saw a trailer the other day, and somebody said 70 percent of the things in it — based on where we were eight weeks ago — are no longer in the movie, because we keep on fooling around.” Brooks also revealed that “there are 94 speaking parts [so far]. And our animals don’t speak,” and “at least one [new character]. If you count nonhuman, two.”
